Our Meeting with the Bishop

On Monday, at around 12 o’clock all of the class counsellors and R.E ministers (Zoe & Emanuela) had a meeting with the Bishop (and a few other people). In the Meeting, we talked about some of the things we do in our class, these include ;

Our end of day bible studies,

Our prayers,

Our pictures,

Our prayer books (that we decorate)

etc.

Instead of just talking to the Bishop about what we did, a few of the class counsellors brought their class prayer books for the bishop and the other adults to see. The Bishop (and the other adults) said that they had really enjoyed looking at our prayer books and all of the art inside them. After this the Bishop pointed out an interesting point. He asked us what Genesis 1v1 said and we all answered ‘ In the beginning’. After this, he asked us what John 1v1  said and we replied again ‘In the Beginning’ this made us realise that there was something special before the world began and that there was another something else that was as special as the first one.

After this we asked him some questions about him and about the roles he plays as a Bishop. Some of the answers he gave were very intriguing and also surprising to some of us, one of them being that on an estimate he has been to over 80 churches this year. When no one had any more questions to ask him, we rounded up with a prayer for the school and every in it.

And that was our meeting.
