Sport This week
Years 1 boys football:
A group of year 1 boys took part in what for many of them, was their first tournament representing the school. They worked super hard, listening to the refs and supporting each other. The boys came in 4th place , narrowly missing out on a medal but having so much fun! The boys said "we loved scoring goals and playing against some of our friends". Well done Boys!
Year 3 Boys Football:
We took two year 3 teams down to Old Brentwood's for their tournament. They all played really well and both teams worked well together. We are really proud of them all!
Jude – We were very confident, and we lost by only 1 point. It was really fun.
Will B – I liked that we all scored goals and didn’t lose a game.
Charlie – We worked together as a good team.
Oliver – I really enjoyed it and we had a lot of fun.
Year 5 and 6 Parish Cup Football:
At the county cup we had so much fun playing against some really big schools. We had such a great time as it went really good and we all came out with a smile on our face. We did not qualify but we played very well against hard schools.

Year 5 and 6 Small Schools Football:
We played very well as a team, and we scored many goals and worked together, for example: on our first match we played outstanding as the score ended up at 5 – 0 to us, Sonny scored 3 goals, Blake scored 1 and Sydney scored 1 goal! For the tournament, our goal difference was 7, with only 2 goals against us. Overall we won 3 games, drew 3 and lost none. We came second, only missing first place by 1 point. We gained lots of experience and many tips from the referees, who helped us throughout the match. We came out with a big smile on our faces wearing our silver medals after proudly representing our school.

Year 5 and 6 girls went up against St Joseph's this afternoon in their first football match of the year. The girls played brilliantly, dominating the pitch and working together to score a huge 6 goals to St Joseph's 0. They have come away with huge smiles on their faces, looking forward to future matches.
