Times Tables
As you may know, there is a statutory multiplication check carried out across the country towards the end of Year 4. In order to be prepared, your child will have already been learning their times tables and be used to the weekly times table challenges that we do here, at Bentley St. Paul's. In Class 4, we continue to build upon this.
Each week, during the autumn term, will have a weekly times table focus, starting with the 2 times table, followed by the 3 times table etc. We will be completing written activities and learning songs and chants, and tips and tricks along the way.
Once the spring term has begun, we will move on to the ipads, to start getting used to dealing with more than one focus times table at a time. Please see below for resources that you may find useful to support your child's learning.
