Hi all,

Can you write me a prayer about what is going on in the world at the moment? I would love to add some to our class newsletter each week.

Here is an example of my prayer from the last newsletter:

Dear God,

At this time of crisis, we bring before you the peoples of our country and the world.

We ask for your blessing and strength for those working tirelessly to protect and save life.

We pray especially for vulnerable people who are at greater risk during this time:
those who are not safe at home;

those who may be plunged into even greater poverty;

those whose fragile mental health may worsen;

those who feel abandoned and alone.

We also pray for all key workers as they support us all in challenging circumstances.

Please bless their efforts and keep them safe from harm.

We thank you for keeping us safe and well.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus.

Amen
