Can you create your own circuit for a robot to complete and keep active? Can you make this in your garden or in your house? Please feel free to send me a video of you and yous siblings completing your "Robotic Circuit".

PM- Robot Jobs!

 

Information:

 A robot can work 24/7 and is often faster than a human with fewer errors. Robots can also be helpful to employees as they can easily do jobs that are repetitive or dangerous and leave interesting jobs to humans.

Over the last few years, robots and computers have made tremendous leaps in their performance and capabilities and are now doing lots of jobs. 

 

This afternoon I would like you to investigate what jobs robots do. Do they.... take orders? Clean? Organise events? Make you food? 

 

There are a variety of different videos and resources below, or you can research your own information too.

 

I would then like you to think about what jobs robots do not yet do and design a new robot for this. Maybe your robot could:

 

• Fly a rocket
• Make your bed
• Operate to save lives
• Teach
• Paint pictures 

 

Can you draw, paint or make this robot? I would also like a description of what your robot does and how it helps humans complete jobs!
